Cette dépendance, parfait exemple du petit patrimoine rural périgourdin, était autrefois une petite habitation, comme en témoigne la pierre d'évier, éclairée d'un jour en lozange. Aujourd'hui simple annexe prés d'un jardin, elle a échapé à une restauration agressive, et offre à l'objectif une merveilleuse palette de tons d'enduits et le parfait équilibre de ses percements. Accrochée à l'entrée, la veste du jardinier cotoie le détail anachronique d'un CD-ROM fixé à un clou, comme aurait pu l'être jadis un fer à cheval.
