Le chêne se tient juste en dessous de la ligne de crête, à la limite exacte entre Creuse et Haute-Vienne. Je voulais le prendre dans l'éclairage du soleil couchant, mais j'ai perdu ma course contre la lumière. Ce n'est plus qu'une sentinelle menaçante, sous un ciel qu'anime une trainée d'avion. (celle là, il m'a fallu l'attendre quelques minutes de plus...)

The oak stands right under the top of the hill, at the exact limit between Creuse and Haute-Vienne. I wanted to take it in the lighting of the setting sun, but I lost my race against the light. It is not any more that one threatening sentinel, under a sky marked by the trace of a plane (to get that one, I had to wait a few minutes more...)
