[Dordogne] Encore un coquelicot (one more poppy)

Ruisselant, froissé, le coquelicot s'incline. Il est habituel de photographier des fleurs parfaites. Celle-ci est pathétique.
Dripping, crushed, the poppy bends. It is usual to shoot perfect flowers. This one is perfectly pathetic, but much expressive.

This flower has the form of a woman crouching. well, sort of. I like the bright red against the middle-green background. Did you try converting this to b&w in photoshop? I bet it would look really cool if you grabbed a lot of the red in the channel mixer.

Thanks for having me on your favorites list. I appreciate that. Also, I just visited 'a walk through durham township'. Some of the shots there are very impressive. Thank you for the recommendation!

Hi Chris, thanks for your comment.

I'm glad you appreciate 'walk throught Durham township'. I don't remenber how I've found it but I go there quite often. Much work in photoshop, I believe, but the result is here; half the way between painting and photography...

I agree with you assessment. However, the results are very interesting.
